States Where Men are Most Likely to Stay Single: Tennessee, Wyoming, Texas, Colorado, North Dakota #1-5

  • Wisconsin ranks seventh in the ranking of the states where men are most likely to stay single. The state offers 1,000 clubs and bars and a massive 440,237 Tinder users, but only 53.4% of them are men, which gives single men a slight edge compared to other states with higher male Tinder user percentages.
  • New research found that Tennessee is the state where men are most likely to stay single, with the lowest single ratio of men to women, despite having a vast number of dating venue opportunities.
  • Wyoming has the lowest number of Tinder users and the least number of clubs and bars available for people to make new romantic connections.
  • North Dakota has the highest ratio of single men to women, at 106.7.
A new study by Ben’s Natural Health analyzed all 50 states to determine which 10 have the highest likelihood of men staying single. The analysis used four key factors: the single ratio of men to women, the number of clubs and bars per 100,000 population, the number of Tinder users per 100,000 population, and the percentage of male Tinder users. The factors were weighted equally at 25%, and a total Singleness Index was calculated by averaging the scaled scores for each state. The divorce rate, while analyzed, was not included in the final index but served as additional context. States were ranked based on their Total Index score, where higher scores indicate a higher likelihood of men staying single. The link at the end of this story provides a more detailed methodology.
