49ers Announce Newest Coaching Staff Additions

Marshfield Native Adam Stenavich earns coaching role with the San Francisco 49ers. Stenavich is a 2001 graduate of the Marshfield High School.

The San Francisco 49ers and head coach Kyle Shanahan have announced the signing of the seven newest members of the team’s coaching staff.

John Benton | Offensive Line

Adam Stenavich | Assistant Offensive Line

Stenavich, 33, enters his first season as the 49ers assistant offensive line coach after spending the previous two seasons (2015-16) as the offensive line coach at San Jose State University. Prior to his time with the Spartans, he was the offensive line coach at Northern Arizona University for one season (2014). Stenavich began his coaching career at his alma mater, the University of Michigan, where he was a graduate assistant for two seasons (2012-13) after spending the 2011 season as a strength & conditioning intern with the school. A native of Marshfield, WI, he appeared in 42 games (39 starts) at left tackle during his career (2001-05) at Michigan. Stenavich signed as an undrafted free agent with the Carolina Panthers in 2006, played for the Amsterdam Admirals of NFL Europa in 2007 and spent time with the Green Bay Packers, Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans.
