Stevens Point Boys Drop WVC Soccer Match with Wausau West

SPASH traveled to Wausau West  and fell to the Warriors by a score of 4-0. West discord twice in the first 12 minutes and SPASH never recovered. Alex Weisgram made 10 saves and Oliver Bartlet 1 in a combined effort for SPASH. The loss drops SPASH to 2-3 in the WVC and 3-9 overall. SPASH will host Eau Claire North in a non-conference match on Saturday at 10:30am.
“Tough loss tonight. We had a similar game earlier in the year with DePere where we didn’t bring the energy and focus needed to compete, and that is not a recipe for success. Hat’s off to West – they were the better team tonight.”
