Stevens Point Boys Take Down Rhinelander in Dramatic Fashion

/30/24 Boys Tennis: SPASH defeats Rhinelander in dramatic fashion Tuesday night. Rhinelander quickly swept all 3 doubles matches, taking the early lead. Rhinelander also took the 1st set in both #1 and #4 singles, but things started to turn. Freshman Tully Smith for SPASH won #2 singles, followed by Freshman Will Mathews at #3 singles. At #1 singles freshman Mitchell Theilman won the 2nd set in a tiebreaker, forcing a 3rd set, and at #4 singles sophomore Reid Neuman also forced a 3rd set. SPASH went on to win both 3-set matches and take the meet 4-3 with a singles sweep.
