Suspect Flees After Altercation on Portage Street
The Stevens Point Police Department is investigating a report of altercation outside a residence in the 1000 Block of Portage St.
On Sept. 30 at approximately 12:35 a.m., the female victim exited her residence and was walking to her vehicle when she was approached by an unknown male. A brief altercation ensued which resulted in the victim receiving multiple scratches to her left side torso and a cut to her shirt by an unknown object.
The victim struck the male suspect with a closed fist to the left side of his face prior to him fleeing eastbound on Portage St.
The white male suspect is described as “taller,” with facial hair, of average build and wearing a dark long-sleeved shirt.
