STRATFORD, WI (OnFocus) – The Stratford Area Fire Department is excited to announce a special event, Drive-In Movie Night, as a gesture of gratitude to the community for their unwavering support. The event will take place on Saturday, June 10th, at dusk, in the Stratford High School Parking Lot, located at 213311 Legion St. Families and friends are invited to bring their blankets and chairs to enjoy a memorable evening under the stars.
The highlight of the evening will be the screening of the timeless classic film, “Herbie The Love Bug.” This heartwarming tale of a lovable Volkswagen Beetle with a mind of its own promises to entertain both children and adults alike, creating an atmosphere of joy and nostalgia. The gates will open at 7:00 p.m.
In the spirit of giving back, the Stratford Area Fire Department encourages attendees to bring nonperishable food items for local donation. The department has always been dedicated to serving the community, and this event provides an opportunity to contribute to those in need while enjoying a delightful cinematic experience.
Admission to Drive-In Movie Night is free for all community members.
“We felt it would be beneficial to say thank you for supporting us by a free drive-in movie,” said Kristie Hughes, representative of the Stratford Area Fire Department.
