Stratford Sweeps Doubleheader with Newman

Stratford defeated Newman in Marawood Conference doubleheader baseball, 8-5 and 18-1.

In game one, Henry Zaleski struck out ten in picking up the complete game win.

Brady Schmidt and Zaleski had two hits apiece for the Tigers.

Eli Gustafson had two hits and two RBI to lead Newman. Tyler Ackerman took the loss on the hill for the Cardinals.

Schmidt picked up the complete  game win in game two, striking out seven.

Riley Spindler was 4X4 with 3 runs scored and 5 RBI to lead Stratford.
