Peshtigo Forfeits Game Against Stratford
The Stratford Tigers football game against Peshtigo scheduled for Saturday at noon has been cancelled due to a forfeit from the Peshtigo team. This game was meant to be a homecoming game for Stratford.
Stratford will move their homecoming festivities to the week of October 1st-7th and their homecoming game will be played October 6th at 7:00PM against the Marathon Red Raiders, according to Stratford Athletic Director Brad Grube.
“We took this week as a self scout week. We looked at what we needed to improve on and work on those drills,” said Jason Tubbs, Stratford Head Coach. “We also gave our guys some extra time off that hopefully will be beneficial.”
The Tigers will be credited with a win for this week, thus moving to 4-1 (2-0 in the Marawood Conference).
