The Stratford Tiger Softball Team took two games from the Marathon Red Raiders Monday and Tuesday 10-2 and 15-5.
On Monday Stratford was led at the plate by Tria Tubbs going 2-2 with a double, 2RBI, 2 runs scored. Carley Pankratz scored 3 runs going 2-3 with an RBI.
Laney Pankratz would get the win going the distance allowing 2 earned runs on 6 hits, 5 walks, striking out 7.
Marathon was led at the plate by Danica Paszek going 2-4 with a home run and an RBI.
Allison Podjaski took the loss, giving up 10 runs, 6 earned, on 8 hits, 7 walks, and 7 strikeouts.
On Tuesday, the Stratford Tigers were led at the plate by Tubbs who went 2-4 with 2 home runs, 4 RBI. Carley Pankratz went 4-5 with 2 triples, 3 runs scored, and an RBI.
Tubbs would get the win going the distance, giving up 5 runs, 0 earned runs, on 4 hits, 2 walks, and 4 strikeouts.
Stratford moves to 7-2, 3-1 in the Marawood South, they next host Nekoosa on Friday afternoon. Marathon drops to 4-4, 2-2 in the Marawood South, they next head to Wausau West on Thursday.
