Strong Thunderstorms Moving Across Central Wisconsin

The National Weather Service has issued a special weather statement until 12:45 p.m. for central Wisconsin. Strong thunderstorms were tracked moving across Marathon, Taylor, and Price counties at 40 mph.

Half-inch hail, localized flooding, and winds over 30 mph are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include: Marshfield, Wausau, Wisconsin Rapids, Antigo, Rhinelander, Crandon, Eagle River, Weston, Merrill and Rib Mountain.

Seek shelter inside and don’t drive vehicles through flooded roadways.
