Marshfield Fire Departments Battles Structure Fire
Marshfield (OnFocus) Marshfield Fire and Rescue responded to a structure fire on the 2500 block of West Veterans Parkway on Monday night.
The call came in at 10:33 PM after passing drivers saw flames coming out of the building.
At the time of the call, the front of the building was fully engulfed. Marshfield Fire and Rescue Department initially responded with EMS, a ladder truck and two engines. Later, additional members were called on to the scene.
Update 11:25 PM: Marshfield Utilities is on the scene to disconnect the gas and electric service to the building.
Update 11:36 PM: Hewitt Area Volunteer Fire Department has been called in to cover the station and any additional calls.
As of 12:15 AM: Total number of Marshfield Fire and Rescue Department crew members on-scene was 12 to 13. No injuries are currently reported.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
