MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – The Marshfield Police Department reported that a 17-year-old male was taken into custody and transported to Wood County Jail after a physical altercation took place at Marshfield Senior High School.
According to the police report, officers were called to the school at 11:30 on Wednesday morning after it was reported that two students were in a fight. The report said the other 17-year-old male that was involved suffered an injury that required stitches.
A charge of substantial battery will be requested through the Wood County District Attorney’s Office, according to the report.
