Study Reveals Which Celebrity Alcohol Brands Are Trending Online

  • Casamigos Tequila comes on top as the most searched-for celebrity spirit brand
  • Jay-Z’s Champagne and McGregor’s Proper No.12 Irish Whiskey complete the top 3
  • Other celebs that made the top 10 are Kendall Jenner and The Rock

New data reveals which celebrity alcohol brands are people googling the most.

The research team at Booking Agent Info, a celebrity contact agent website, analyzed Google searches of popular celebrity alcohol brands to discover which celebrity has the most popular drink.

The chart-topper is George Clooney with his very popular Casamigos Tequila, a brand he has since sold for a whopping 1 billion dollars. The drink was a clear winner, having almost double the search volume compared to the runner-up. There are many reasons for this, including the fact that it was the fastest-growing spirit brand in 2022 due in part to the viral marketing that was used to promote it.

In second place is Jay-Z’s Armand de Brignac Champagne, totalling 530K average monthly searches. The drink was virtually unknown until Jay-Z purchased it in 2014, instantly increasing its popularity.

Connor McGregor and his Proper No.12 Irish Whiskey follows in third place, which racked up almost 416K monthly searches. The drink became popular with whiskey fans and MMA enthusiasts who closely follow the Irish UFC fighter.

Fourth on the list is Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, whose Teremana Tequila won gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and has more than 258K average monthly searches. He is closely trailed by Bob Dylan’s Heaven’s Door Whiskey, which comes fifth, with 257K average monthly searches.

Kendall Jenner is in sixth place with 818 Tequila, a popular brand that receives almost 245K average monthly searches on Google. The sweet caramel corn taste goes a long way in making this drink so popular among the masses who prefer a tequila that doesn’t taste anything like a tequila.

Seventh on the list is Ryan Reynolds’ Aviation American Gin with a total of over 90K searches. He is closely followed by Michael Jordan’s Cincoro Tequila, which is in eighth place with a total of 77K searches.

Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston have the ninth most popular drink, Dos Hombres Mezcal, with 74K searches. The Breaking Bad duo had the show’s fans eager to discover what concoction the actors had come up with.

David Beckham follows them closely in tenth place with his Haig Club Whiskey, which receives an average of 67K monthly searches.
