Female Body Recovered from Wisconsin River
OnFocus – On April 29, 2023, at approximately 12:48 p.m., Wood County Central Dispatch received the report of a person in the Wisconsin River just north of Wakely Road in the Township of Saratoga, Wood County.
The caller was able to bring the person to shore. First responders arrived on scene and assessed the person. The person, a 58 year old female from Nekoosa, was deceased, which was determined to be from drowning.
