According to exclusive post-Superbowl data from Total Wine & More, Chiefs’ fans showed more local pride than 49ers’ fans this weekend when it came to their Big Game beverage of choice.
While fans of the 49ers were sipping on national brands such as Cutwater & Coors, Chiefs fans’ top selling brand of the weekend was Boulevard Brewing, brewed right in Kansas City.
The big story in SF? Cutwater Spirits – a canned cocktail – pushed its way to the top spot during a typically beer-focused occasion.
