Marshfield, WI (OnFocus) In a daring pursuit that took place earlier today, the Marshfield Police Department attempted to stop a gray Dodge Avenger for a routine stop sign violation. However, the situation quickly escalated when the driver of the vehicle decided to evade the officer by speeding away. The ensuing high-speed chase led authorities north on Veterans Parkway (State Highway 13) all the way to Spencer.
During the pursuit, law enforcement officers employed a tire deflation device in an attempt to halt the fleeing vehicle.
