OnFocus – On May 23, 2021 at approximately 10:52 p.m. an individual was driving on Church Avenue near Thunder Trail in the Township of Saratoga when he came across a male subject hunched over alongside the road. The individual driving the vehicle stopped to check on the subject.
The male subject displayed a BB gun and demanded the individual give him his wallet. A short confrontation ensued and the suspect shot the individual in the abdomen with a BB gun. The suspect fled on foot. The suspect was described as wearing a green t-shirt, blue jeans, clean shaven, and in his mid-20’s.
The victim received a minor injury which required no medical attention. Officers from the Grand Rapids Police Department, Port Edwards Police Department, Nekoosa Police Department, and Nekoosa Police K9 lvo assisted at the scene. The suspect has not yet been located and the incident remains under investigation.
