Teddy Bear Toss Game happening Friday Night to benefit Salvation Army
(Wausau, WI) –The Wausau Cyclones and Culvers have partnered together for the annual Teddy Bear Toss Game happening this Friday, December 13th at 7:10pm. All fans are encouraged to bring a new/gently used stuffed animal(s) to the game and when the Cyclones score their first goal of the game fans throw their stuffed animal(s) onto the ice to benefit kids in North-Central Wisconsin.
“This promotion allows our fans and local community to spread holiday cheer by giving back to those in need, all while creating a fun and memorable visual of stuffed animals falling from the stands.” Director of Business Operations Zach Serwe stated.
Fans can also select who they think will score the teddy bear toss goal and unleash the stuffed animals on the Cyclones social media platforms prior to the game for an opportunity to drop a ceremonial first puck at a future game and win a Cyclones prize pack. Tickets for the annual Teddy Bear Toss Game presented by Culvers are available via wausaucyclones.com. Availability is limited.
The Cyclones are members of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL), one of three USA Hockey-sanctioned Tier III Junior leagues, serves as one of the top training grounds in the country by providing the best coaching, exposure and developmental vehicles available for student-athletes in its classification. The primary mission of the NA3HL is to provide a structured developmental environment for student-athletes who have aspirations of playing in the NAHL or United States Hockey League and eventually the NCAA or American College Hockey Association.
