Experts at SlotsUp conducted research to determine the top 10 athletes with the most net worth. The metrics includes data on the name of the athletes, their nationality, age, the sports they are playing, their net worth as well as their annual salary/winnings. The amount of the athletes search results in the web is also included. The final ranking was based on the net worth of the athletes.

Venus Williams, an American professional tennis player, is the first with the most net worth of $95 million. As the second oldest athlete on the list, Williams has the most number of matches (1076), out of which she has won 815.
With a net worth of $55 million, Danish tennis star Caroline Wozniacki has made her mark not only through her consistency on the court but also through various endorsements and business ventures. What has also contributed to her net worth is Wozniacki’s career highlights including winning the 2018 Australian Open and maintaining the world No. 1 ranking for 71 weeks.
With a net worth of $60 million, Naomi Osaka holds the third place among the wealthiest athletes. At only 26, she has already made significant earnings from her tennis career with $51.1 million in salary and winnings, complemented by endorsement deals.
Retired Swedish golfer Annika Sörenstam remains a prominent figure in golf taking the fourth place with a net worth of $40 million. Throughout her career, she earned $22 million in winnings, a record in women’s golf at the time of her retirement.
American freestyle skier Eileen Gu has a net worth of $32 million at just 20 years old and is the fifth with her impressive net worth. Her income sources include prize money, endorsements, and modeling, as well as competition winnings, notably $100K annually. 
Romanian tennis player Simona Halep is ranked sixth with a net worth of $30 million. Known for her strong baseline play, she has won two Grand Slam titles and earns $2.2 million a year from winnings and endorsements.
Following Halep, Polish tennis player Iga Swiatek is just 22 years old but she is not only the seventh richest athlete in the world with a net worth of $25 million but she is also the most searched athlete with 1.3 million web searches in total. 
Victoria Azarenka ranks eighth with a net worth of $22.5 million. The 34-year-old Belarusian tennis player is second on the list with the 867 matches played and 615 wins secured. Her successful career has played a significant role in building her net worth.
Canadian golfer Brooke Henderson has a net worth of $18 million at the age of 26. She earns $1.9 million a year from tournament winnings and endorsements, thanks to her powerful swing and success in women’s golf.
Rounding out the list, American gymnast Simone Biles has a net worth of $16 million. In 2023 Biles won eighth U.S. Gymnastics title, breaking the 90-year-old U.S. Gymnastics title record previously held by Alfred Jochim and earning more than $5 million.

This is proven by their endorsement and sponsorship deals, backed by their massive influence on social media platforms. Success in the sport does not have much impact on their net worth as well. “
