URGENT – WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE
National Weather Service Green Bay WI
813 PM CST Mon Nov 25 2019
WINTER STORM LIKELY TUESDAY NIGHT AND WEDNESDAY…
A winter storm is forecast to move from the central Plains to
Wisconsin and bring heavy snow to central and north-central
Wisconsin. Snowfall totals of 8 to 12 inches are expected north
of a Merrill to Niagara line, with 4 to 8 inches expected across
the remainder of central, northcentral and far northeast
Wisconsin.
In addition to the snow, increasing northeast winds Tuesday night
and northwest winds on Wednesday will reduce visibilities and
make driving difficult.
If you have travel plans across the northwest half of Wisconsin,
southern Minnesota or much of Iowa, listen to later forecasts for
possible winter storm warnings or advisories.
