MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – We’ve got some events for the whole family (and even our furry friends) going on this weekend. If you’re looking for something to do, check out these suggestions:
- PET SUPPLIES PLUS LOVE YOUR PET EVENT (Saturday – 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.) –Pet Supplies Plus will be hosting a “Love Your Pet” event on Saturday, February 19th from 10:00am – 6:00pm.
“We have so many exciting things taking place, including a free raffle for pet gifts, free goodie bags with coupons, paw print paintings, free keychains with a donations to MAPS, free bandanas for every dog wash purchase, and a fun backdrop to take selfies in front of with your best friends!” said Store Team Lead, Kim Crawford. “We can’t wait to see you there!”

- HEARTS FOR TINY TYKES (Saturday @ 2 p.m.) – Bring your little ones in, so they can learn about their heart and how it pumps blood throughout their body. They will be able to listen to their own heart, watch their heart beat and then color a wooden heart to take home with them.
Ages 1-5; donation based. Please message us to sign you and your child up.
- CABIN FEVER RUN (Saturday @ 10 a.m.) – Wisconsin’s always in season. We’re here for it. Join us as we shake off winter blues, connect with friends, and get outside!
Distance: Choose to run or walk the 2 or 5-mile distances from downtown Marshfield neighborhoods, both street and trail. Registration and race start begins along 2nd Street, (near Central Ave), and ends in the Wenzel Family Plaza.Awards: 11:30 a.m. – Join us in the Wenzel Family Plaza after the race to see the wooden medallions awarded to the top 2 finishers in each age group. The overall male and female winners will also be announced and will win complimentary entries to next year’s race.Age categories: 14 & Under | 15-19 | 20-24 | 25-29 | 30-34 | 35-39 | 40-44 | 45-49 | 50-54 | 55-59 | 60-64 | 65-69 | 70+Sign-up: Required either online or on the day of the race. (Race day registration cost is $35.) Online signup closes on Thursday, February 17th at midnight. Same-day race signup will be available from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at registration. Online signup is highly encouraged.Race packet pickup & registration: 8:30-9:30 a.m. in the Dolezal Room (lower level) of Second Street Community Center. Participants receive a race t-shirt and drink ticket for beer or cocoa at Cabin Fever Fest. (We ID.)Pets: We love our furry friends, but to respect all participants no dogs will be allowed in the run/walk.Cabin Fever Fest: All are welcome to Cabin Fever Fest, kicking off in the Wenzel Family Plaza at 10 a.m. Warm up by the bonfires, grab s’mores, watch the kids fun run, sip cocoa & grab your complimentary runner drink at the beer tent.
- WHISKEY & WINE FEST (Friday – 6 – 9 p.m.) – Join us on Friday, February 18, 2022 for a fun social event at Hotel Marshfield – you pick if you want to sample whiskey or wine! Joe G. will be performing and there will be a wide array of appetizers and cheese available.
First 200 participants will receive a complimentary wine or whiskey glass.Tickets will be $35 in advance (must purchase by February 17).Tickets may be available at the door for $40 pending availability.
