MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – Winter brings a hole new element to what you can do on the weekends. From snowmobiling to snowshoeing and anything in-between, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the snow. However, if you aren’t interested in winter sports in Wisconsin, here’s a couple of indoor activities (with an outdoor one thrown in) to keep you busy this weekend:
- COPPER BOX @ THE LUCILLE TACK CENTER – (Saturday) – The LuCille Tack Center in Spencer will be hosing the Oshkosh band, Copper Box on Saturday, January 22 at 7:30 p.m.Playing both familiar tunes and their own originals, Copper Box will deliver an entertaining evening of pure enjoyment. - WAUSAU 525 (Saturday and Sunday) – This event will bring snowmobile racing to the Wausau area as the USSA ProStar Series comes to town. Races will be held Saturday with hot laps beginning at 8-9 a.m. and the first race beginning at 9:30 a.m. There will also be a meet & Greet approximately 4 p.m. On Sunday, Round 4 of the USSA ProStar Cup Tour will begin at 9:30 a.m. Admission is $18 per day or $30 for the weekend. Races will be held at the Wausau 525 Race Track at 145025 Co. Hwy. NN Wausau, Wisconsin 54401.
- WINTER GRAB AND GO CRAFTS (Friday) – School’s out today, so stop by the Youth Services Desk and get yourself a Winter themed craft at the Everett Roehl Marshfield Public Library.
