Here is the outlook for Thorp’s golf season:
- Key returners this season:
- Connor Tieman (Jr)
- Carter Tieman (Jr)
- Thomas Abramczak (So)
- Strengths of your team:
- 3 returning Varsity players, 2 of which have played varsity competition for 3 years
- All three have put a lot of work in during the off season and showing signs of big improvement year over year
- They’ve really found their style of golf and have some confidence in their game.
2023 Central Wisconsin Spring Sports Schedules
- Conference outlook:
- Our conference is very tough on the top end, while we’ve seen numbers decline at several schools, Regis/McDonnell still sits on top with a strong senior class that will compete for the win every single tournament. Bloomer is a team that will push Regis/McDonell as well, they’ve been building their program every year with young guys coming out working hard. They will put up strong team scores. Columbus Catholic will be a sleeper team that could surprise some people this year. And then I think you’ll see the rest of us fighting every tournament to get into that top three.
