MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – New Year, new events! If you’re looking to get out of the house and do something this weekend, we’ve got you covered. Here’s our picks of things to do in the Marshfield area this weekend:
- STEVE “TARBS” LEU BENEFIT (Saturday) – Steve ’Tarbs’ Leu recently passed away but a benefit will be held in his honor. The fundraiser is being held January 8th from 3-10:00 p.m. at Marshfield Eagles Club, with proceeds going to support his medical bills and family. The fundraiser on Jan. 8 will feature raffle baskets, a 50/50 raffle, gun and meat raffles, and more.
- BENEFIT FOR ADAM CAROLFI (Saturday) – Join the Carolfi family for an afternoon of fun including an auction, raffles, games, 50/50 drawing, bake sale, door prizes, and lunch. All proceeds will benefit Adam Carolfi and his battle with brain cancer. The benefit will start at 11 am at the Central Wisconsin Sportsman’s Club. All funds raised will go directly to Adam’s medical costs and related travel expenses.
- FIREWORKS AT GRANITE PEAK (Saturday) – Fireworks will light up the slopes at Granite Peak in Wausau in a beautiful 20 minute show right in the middle of the peak. Great viewing from the top of the hill or the bottom on the Historic Deck! The show begins at 7 p.m.
