Local Contractors Helping to Renovate Former OfficeMax Building on North Central
MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – Popular retailer T.J. Maxx is coming to Marshfield. The store will be located at 1629 North Central Avenue, in the former OfficeMax space.
T.J. Maxx was founded in 1976, and together with Marshalls in the U.S., forms Marmaxx, the largest off-price retailer of apparel and home fashions in the U.S. With stores across the country, including Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia, T.J. Maxx also operates an e-commerce site, tjmaxx.com, which launched in 2013.
Construction is planned to begin in October, with a targeted open date of January 2022. A Wisconsin contractor is doing the interior work and has been able to award most of the subcontracts to local contractors.
