WOOD COUNTY, WI (OnFocus) – The Wood County Sheriff’s Department is implementing a Tow Ban for Wood County roadways beginning at 6pm on 2/22/2023 and will be in place until further notice. Occupants will be assisted as needed an any vehicle which is not an immediate hazard will not be towed from the highway until conditions improve and the ban is lifted.
Stay off the roads if at all possible. Roads will be snow covered and slippery. Responses by emergency services will be delayed also.
