11:30- A semi versus truck accident has occurred on Hwy 173 and County GG on Wednesday near Nekoosa. Both lanes are closed between County GG and County G. Drivers are advised to stay clear of the area.
1:30 – An accident occurred on Hwy 173 west of Kimball Ave. near County GG. Both north and southbound lanes are still closed as emergency personnel work to clear the scene. Wood County Sheriff’s Department, Nekoosa Fire and Rescue, and State Patrol are on scene at this time. A detour is set up.
2:00 – No positive identification has been made on either vehicle due to fire damage. No further update available at this time.
