MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – A routine traffic stop in Marshfield led to the arrest of an individual for possession of cocaine on March 19, 2025.
According to the police report, an officer initiated a traffic stop at approximately 11:58 a.m. on a vehicle with a non-functioning high-mounted stop lamp. The stop took place near 11014 N Central Ave in Marshfield, WI.
During the course of the stop, a K9 unit was deployed, and the dog signaled the presence of a controlled substance within the vehicle. Following this indication, officers conducted a search of the vehicle, which resulted in the discovery of cocaine.
The suspect was taken into custody, and further investigation is underway. Authorities have not yet released the name of the individual involved.
