Two Arrested in Village of Biron Drug Bust

BIRON, WI (OnFocus) – On March 16, the Wood County Sheriff’s Department executed a search warrant on State Highway 54 in the Village of Biron, Wood County, Wisconsin. A quantity of suspected Heroin, Methamphetamine, and Marijuana was seized at the residence along with drug paraphernalia. Inside the residence, two adult male individuals were taken into custody and are being held at the Wood County Jail.

Tony and Jesse Noodwang, 26 and 28 years old, were arrested during the search.

Multiple charges will be forwarded to the Wood County District Attorney’s Office including:

  • Maintaining Drug Trafficking Place
  • Possession of Methamphetamine – Repeat Offender
  • Possession of Heroin – Repeat Offender
  • Possession of THC – Repeat Offender
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

The Wood County Sheriff’s Department was assisted in this investigation by the Marshfield Police Department, Wisconsin Rapids Police Department and the Central Wisconsin Drug Task Force.

The Wood County Sheriff’s Department said the safety of Wood County citizens remains their top priority in a statement with the arrest.

“The Wood County Sheriff’s Department takes a strong stance against individuals who sell or possess these types of restricted and controlled substances in our community,” Sheriff Shawn Becker stated. “Heroin and Methamphetamine are known deadly substances and the Wood County Sheriff’s Department will relentlessly continue to investigate individuals who put the citizens in danger.”
