On Sunday, January 12, 2020 at approximately 1:01 P.M., Wood County deputies were dispatched to a Town of Richfield home at 7631 Richfield Drive for a report of a male and female who were both discovered to be deceased.
A cause of death for each individual is not confirmed as of this time. The scene is currently under investigation by Wood County deputies and members of the Wisconsin State Crime Laboratory.
Names of the individuals involved are being withheld at this time pending notification of family. The general public is not in any danger as a result of this incident. Further information will be released when available.
In addition to the Wood County Sheriff’s Department and Wisconsin Crime Laboratory, members of the Richfield Fire Department also assisted with this incident.
