MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – Marshfield Police Officers responded to a complaint that someone was shining a laser into the complainant’s vehicle while on the roadway on Saturday night.
A 19-year-old Wisconsin Rapids woman contacted police to report that a laser was being shined from a singular vehicle into multiple other vehicles including hers. The woman stated the subjects intentionally shined the laser into her mirror, which went into her eye.
Officers located the vehicle and two male occupants admitted to shining the laser but claimed it was only at street signs. The incident occurred at the 1800 block of West Veterans Parkway.
Charges are being requested through the Wood County DA for disorderly conduct.
