UPDATE: SHERIFF’S OFFICE IDENTIFIES TWO MEN KILLED IN MURDER-SUICIDE

Wausau, Wis. (April 5, 2023) – The Marathon County Sheriff’s Office has identified the two men killed during what is presumed to have been a murder-suicide on April 2, 2023, at a Town of Hull home as 65-year-old Daniel R. Gumz and 62-year-old Ronnie A. Gumz. Both men resided at the County Road N home. Authorities have completed the investigation and autopsies, and do not believe there was any foul play or other factors involved.

The Marathon County Sheriff’s Office extends its condolences to the families who lost their loved ones.
