Marshfield, WI (OnFocus) More sidewalk chalk art is uplifting spirits in the community, this time at Marshfield Police Department and on the Marshfield Clinic Health System campus.

With bright drawings featuring slogans like “You are the sunshine in Marshfield!” and “Thank you for keeping us safe!,” Marshfield Insurance staff decorated the sidewalks around Marshfield Police Department as a fun way to inspire cheer in those who keep the community safe at this time.

“It was just something we wanted to do on a nice day,” said Nick Arnoldy, owner at Marshfield Insurance. “We’re thinking of all the community people who are impacted.”

“Don’t need to be a trained investigator to spot the evidence of chalky hands and guilty smirks…” said the department in a post on Facebook thanking Marshfield Insurance staff, adding that they challenge each community member to let one another know they are appreciated in their own creative way.

The chalk art on the Marshfield Clinic Health System campus featured similar sentiments, thanking doctors, nurses, and caregivers for all they are doing to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
