[EAGAN, MN, June 12, 2023]  — USA Curling is pleased to announce that National Championship Qualifying Procedures for the 2023-24 season are now available online.

These Qualifying Procedures, previously embedded in the USA Curling Rules of Curling, are being published as a stand-alone document to provide clarity and make it easier for players to find the information they need.

It’s no secret that all competitors have long wanted to be able to plan their seasons earlier than has been possible in the past,” noted Dean Gemmell, CEO of USA Curling. “We made it a priority to review existing qualification procedures as soon as the championship season was completed, revised areas that could be improved, and edited to make each process as easy to understand as possible.”

Prior to releasing the 2023-24 Qualifying Procedures, USA Curling announced host sites for multiple national championships, and expects to finalize agreements for remaining championships and qualifier events in the coming weeks. Planning is also underway for the 2024-25 and 2025-2026 seasons—clubs or facilities interested in hosting championships should email Events Director Aaron Kaylor at [email protected].
