Madison (OnFocus) – UW-Madison has announced that spring break for the 2020-21 school year has been eliminated, as a measure to reduce spread of COVID-19 during the scheduled spring break in 2021.

As reported by Madison.com, the Faculty Senate scrapped spring break, replacing spring break

This decision comes on the heels of last week’s decision to suspend face to face classes  and moving more than one third of students living in dorms into quarantine.
