RICE LAKE – The UWSP-Marshfield/Wood County women’s volleyball team was swept by UWEC-Barron County 3-0 in a Wisconsin Collegiate Conference match Wednesday.
Barron County won 25-4, 25-15, 25-17. The Marauders fall to 1-2 overall and 1-1 in conference play.
Courtney Schmidt had five kills and nine digs, Sierra Litwaitis had 11 digs, and Emily Cook had 33 set assists for Marshfield/Wood County.
The Marauders next match is Saturday at UW-Rock County in Janesville.
