SPORTSDESK- The 2018 Valley Football Association has recognized top performers in the VFA West division. Topping the list is VFA West Offensive Player of the Year, Ryan Krueger, and Coach of the Year, Denny Goettl.
Krueger led the Marshfield Tigers from the quarterback position again in 2018, helping his Tigers to a perfect 9-0 regular season. Krueger finished the regular season with 994 passing yards, 13 passing touchdowns and completing 63% passes.
Other Tigers receiving awards; Brody Anderson (OL), Sam Haessly (OL), Isaiah Baierl (RB), Isaac Meverden (WR), Brant Bohman (RB), Justin Kuse (DL), Alex Steines (DL), Ben Gust (LB), Alex Wehrman (LB), Riley Boushack (DB), Nolan Hertel (DB), Mason Coffren (K).
Brody Anderson, a senior, was named Offensive Lineman of the Year, Ryan Krueger was named Offensive Back of the Year and Nolan Hertel was named Defensive Back of the Year.
