MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – On Monday evening, officers were dispatched to 641 S Central Avenue after a man reported his vehicle was missing. The man had left his key fob in his vehicle while grocery shopping. When he returned to the parking lot, the vehicle was gone.
The man told officers that an almost identical vehicle had been parked in the lot near his vehicle. Officers made contact with the identical vehicle’s owners and discovered they had taken the wrong vehicle. The “stolen” vehicle was promptly returned.
