Christ Lutheran Church in Marshfield will be hosting its first ever Virtual Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, April 11 at 10 a.m. A video will be posted on the Christ Lutheran Facebook Page (Facebook.com/clcmarshfield) and YouTube Page (youtube.com/clcMarshfieldWI). The videos will include a Bible reading, Easter songs by our puppeteers, and the egg hunt.
Here’s how the egg hunt will work…
The goal will be for children (ages 2 – 5th grade) to discover a secret code. The secret code will contain seven words. Children will be guided (by video) through seven different rooms at Christ Lutheran Church. Each room will uncover one word in the secret code. While in each room, children will search for eggs which have letters written on them. For instance, they will be told, “This is room one. In this room you will find five eggs. Write down the five letters you see on the eggs and unscramble the letters to discover the first word of the secret code.”
By the end of the egg hunt, children should have all of the words they need to reveal the entire code. Once they have the code, they can email it to [email protected]. (If you don’t have email, you can leave a message at the Church (715-384-3535) with the answer, your name, and contact info). Children with the correct code will win an Easter prize. Parents have the option of having the prize mailed to the child’s home or they may pick up their prize at Christ Lutheran Church (14th & Lincoln in Marshfield) once the Safer at Home Ordinance has been lifted.
The deadline to submit answers in Sunday, April 19.
