Stevens Point (OnFocus) – The University of Wisconsin Stevens-Point is offering a virtual, home-based strength and stability exercise program, consisting of five sessions.

Join Corey Huck, Ph.D., for this unique exercise training experience. This program consists of five, 60-minute Zoom sessions where Corey will demonstrate a series of low-impact exercises which focus on core stability, balance, strength, flexibility, and body posture for healthy aging. The best part of this program is you don’t need a gym membership or costly specialized equipment, so it was designed with VERSATILITY and SUSTAINABILITY in mind. You can participate in this program from the comfort of your home or office! Since one’s bodyweight is the modality of choice for this exercise program, it is extremely safe and feasible for adults of all ages, fitness levels, and is an awesome active break within your busy day!UWSP Continuing Education and Outreach

Registration Information

Registration Fee: $69 per person

Participants will receive a training program, virtual instruction, feedback on exercise techniques, and tips for successful implementation and sustainability.

Instructor

Corey Huck, Ph.D., has been a professor at UW-Stevens Point for 12 years, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, a personal trainer, coach, presenter, and a consultant with many companies and communities. He has a Doctorate in Physical Activity, Nutrition, and Wellness, a Masters in Kinesiology, and lots of experience with Zoom and instruction in the virtual world even before the COVID-19 pandemic.
