OnFocus – Weiler Convenience Stores in Marshfield is not only selling specially designed shirts to raise funds for the Midwest Horse Welfare Foundation (MHWF), but also providing a unique way to help feed these local horses in need. Customers can buy a bag of Purina Senior Equine Food that is then directly donated to MHWF.

“MHWF goes through an average of three bags of feed every day, so just in food that’s a cost of about $66/day,” said Kelly Weiler, owner. “We wanted to offer a way for people to help feed these local horses by selling bags of food at our stores that are then directly donated to the cause!”

MHWF’s Scott and Karen Bayerl recently visited Weiler’s to get an “Adopt Don’t Shop” shirt and share information about their rescue.

“This year with COVID, most fundraisers were cancelled,” said Scott. “Our biggest ones had to be canceled, so this is going go help us a lot. The money from the shirt sales is going to go directly into vet care and feed for our horses.”

Visit any Weiler Convenience Store location to purchase a bag of Purina Senior Equine Food, which will then be donated directly to help the horses at MHWF.
