Wausau East and Merrill Girls Swimming Partner to Support Those Impacted by Childhood Cancer

Wausau East trimmed Merrill in WVC Girls Swimming, 86-84.

“Wausau East and Merrill joined forces to support those impacted by childhood cancer at their recent dual meet,” shared Merrill Girls Swimming Coach Kristie Winter. “All swimmers wore a gold ribbon tattoo to show their support.”

  • 200 medley relay – Miles, Winter, Jirovec, Sommer
  • 200 IM – Amber Winter
  • 100 freestyle – Bailee Sommer
  • 500 freestyle – Olivia Pajtash
  • 100 backstroke – Megan Miles
  • 100 breaststroke – Amber Winter

“The swim meet was very exciting from start to finish, the score bounced back and forth throughout the meet coming down to the final realy where East just outswam us,” Winter added.
