Voters overwhelmingly supported one pair of athletes in a runaway race for the final winter sports season’s weekly top athlete(s).
Jaxson Wendhausen and Drew Aschliman of Mineral Point Boys Basketball picked up the title of OnFocus Athletes of the Week, March 10 – March 16, with 960 votes!

- Nolan Minessale, Marquette Boys Basketball – Minessale led the Hilltoppers with a game-high 29 points, a team-high six rebounds and four blocked shots as Marquette took the Division 1 State Title with a 84-62 win over Arrowhead.
- Kacy Eggebrecht, Phillips Girls Basketball – The Phillips´ senior advanced to the finals of the WIAA Girls Basketball 3-Point Challenge, finishing in third place.
- Sekou Konneh, St. Thomas More Boys Basketball – Konneh produced a double-double, tossing in a game-high 20 points and grabbing a game-high 14 rebounds, leading the Cavaliers to a 65-54 win over Lakeside Lutheran in the Division 3 State Title Game.
- Emmitt Konieczny / Joe Konieczny, Columbus Catholic Boys Basketball – Emmitt led all scorers in the state title game with 31 points, including 10-for-10 at the free throw line, setting a D5 state record for free throw accuracy, in the Dons´81-75 win over Abundant Life Christian. His dad, Joe, notched his 400th career win in the state semifinals.
- Jaxson Wendhausen / Drew Aschliman, Mineral Point Boys Basketball – Aschliman had five points in the Pointers´ 65-64 win over Kenosha St. Joseph Catholic in the Division 4 State Title Game, none bigger than his game-winner as time expired to give the Pointers the win. Wendhausen had a team-high 20 points for Mineral Point, including 6 of 10 from three-point territory.
