Marshfield, WI (OnFocus) – After yesterday’s announcement that the fountain at the Wenzel Family Plaza will remain closed until further notice, the Facebook page was updated today to announce that the water fountain will indeed be opening as planned.
“The water fountain will be operational as planned starting Monday, June 1st. Please note this area will not be supervised and to practice social distancing and sanitation guidelines put in place by the Wood County Health Department. Thank you!” they stated.
There will still be no events at the Plaza in June. The Plaza is working closely with the Parks and Recreation Department to follow any protocols put in place for city parks during COVID-19 and determine when to open up the water feature. Read more here.
