Marshfield (OnFocus) – An incident on Tuesday evening has been resolved. There was a strong police presence in the 400 block of West 7th St in Marshfield to address a potential barricaded fugitive. The public was asked to avoid the area and those who live in that area were asked to please remain inside and keep doors locked.
About an hour after the initial post, the residence was pronounced clear and police were leaving the scene. Police would not disclose whom they were trying to locate, but a search determined the fugitive was not in the residence. There is no danger to the community, per police.
