MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – As the cost of a college education continues to increase, strategically saving for tuition and school expenses is more important than ever.
On the latest episode of “The Credit You Deserve” podcast, David Murphy, President at Marshfield Medical Center Credit Union, talks with guest Trevor Neufeld of Neufeld Capital Management, discussing financial planning for college. Learn when to start saving for college, as well as tips on how to get the education you want.
“It’s important to save for college at a younger age, but setting aside the funds to do so can be a challenge,” said Murphy. “Trevor shares tips on how to overcome this challenge, and shares advice for families on how to get the most out of their money for college.”
Though tuition increases averaged 4.6% from 2010-2020 and working through college is no longer a realistic endeavor for most large schools, there are options for parents and students to help manage college costs.
