Make up Regional Finals were played Monday night.
In Division 4, the Stratford Tigers lost a close game to the Wittenberg-Birnamwood Chargers 40-33.
In Division 5, the Loyal Greyhounds now know their Sectional Semifinal opponent, as the Plainfield Tri-County Penguins beat the Wild Rose Wildcats 54-52. Loyal and Tri-County will play in a Sectional Semifinal at Marshfield High School Thursday night at 6:00PM
Following the Loyal – Tri-County Game there will also be a Division 1 Regional Semifinal in Marshfield as the Chippewa Falls Cardinals and the D.C. Everest Evergreens will face off. Start time for that game is approximately 8:00PM
Boys Playoff Basketball begins tonight as well and there are many local teams in action!
Starting in Division 4, where the Stratford Tigers host the Spencer Rockets. The winner of that game will face Edgar in the regional semifinals at Edgar High School. We will broadcast tonight’s game at stratfordtigers.news and therocket.news/sports starting at 6:45PM.
Auburndale will play in a Division 4 game against Crandon at Auburndale High School, and the winner of that game will travel to face Crivitz in the regional semifinals.
In Division 5, the Columbus Dons will host Bowler. The winner of that game gets the winner of the game between Wisconsin Valley Lutheran and Rosholt. We will broadcast tonight’s game at focusonmarshfield.com/sports starting at 6:45PM.
Also in Division 5, the Loyal Greyhounds will host Tigerton; the winner of that game gets either Greenwood or Wild Rose in the regional semifinals.
All regional semifinal games will be played Friday at 7:00PM.
