WIAA State Volleyball Tournament Tournament Information: Times and matchups

THE TOURNAMENTS:  The 58th State Boys Volleyball Tournament and the 49th State Girls Volleyball Tournament will be held Thursday-Saturday, Nov. 4-6, at the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wis. WIAA State Volleyball Tournament Information

COVID PROVISIONS:  Fully vaccinated individuals should consider wearing a mask in areas of high likelihood of transmission. In addition, masks are strongly encouraged for individuals not fully vaccinated.

BOYS TOURNAMENT INFORMATION:  The single-elimination tournament features matches with a best-of-five-sets, rally-scoring format. Of the 57 schools that offer a boys volleyball program, eight remain to play for the single-division State title. Match-ups for the tournament are determined by seeding each of the teams.

Boys Quarterfinals – Thursday, Nov. 4
#2 Marquette (32-7) vs. #7 Wauwatosa East (24-12) – 10 a.m.
#3 Catholic Memorial (26-10) vs. #6 Arrowhead (20-12) – 10 a.m.
#1 Kaukauna (43-1) vs. #8 Kenosha Indian Trail (22-13) – 4 p.m.
#4 Kettle Moraine (27-10) vs. #5 Westosha Central (35-6) – 4 p.m.

Boys Semifinals – Friday, Nov. 5
Semifinal (Thursday’s 10 a.m. winners) – 5 p.m.
Semifinal (Thursday’s 4 p.m. winners) – 5 p.m.

Boys Championship Match – Saturday, Nov. 6
Championship Match – 5 p.m.

GIRLS TOURNAMENT INFORMATION: The single-elimination tournament features matches with a best-of-five-sets, rally-scoring format. Of the 471 programs that offer girls volleyball, eight teams will play for the State title in Division 1, with four teams still in contention for the State crown in Divisions 2, 3 and 4. Match-ups for the tournament is determined by seeding each of the teams in all divisions.
