WIAA to Conduct Assistant Director Position Search

STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association is beginning its search for an assistant director to fill the position currently held by Stephanie Hauser, who was named the next executive director and will begin those responsibilities on July 1, 2021.

The information and details for the assistant director position search was posted on the WIAA website and distributed to various associations and partners Monday. Interested individuals seeking the position must submit application materials by Thursday, May 27.

The first round of interviews are scheduled to be conducted via Zoom Wednesday, June 9 and, if necessary, Thursday, June 10. Final interviews are expected to be held at the WIAA office in Stevens Point Wednesday, June 16.

The anticipated start date for the successful candidate is scheduled for Monday, July 12.

The WIAA, as defined by its Constitution, is a voluntary, unincorporated, and nonprofit organization. The membership oversees interscholastic athletic programs for 515 senior high schools and 48 junior high/middle level schools in its membership.
