MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – Munsey and Boda, the beloved Kodiak bears at Wildwood Zoo, are turning 10 years old, and the community is invited to join the celebration. The zoo is hosting a special birthday event on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM, where visitors can see the bears enjoy their special day with enrichment activities and treats.
This year’s birthday theme is Minecraft, and guests will have the opportunity to watch the bears engage with themed enrichment items designed to stimulate their natural behaviors. In addition to the festivities for Munsey and Boda, there will be treats for visitors, educational biofacts to explore, and a giant birthday card for guests to sign in honor of the birthday boys.
Wildwood Zoo encourages those who wish to bring a gift for the bears to consider donating items from their Kodiak Bear Wishlist, which includes supplies that help enhance the bears’ environment and daily care.
